The SOAS Bar Society is pleased to announce the Rose Heilbron Moot 2019, a competition honouring the late Dame Rose Heilbron QC, an impressive woman of many ‘firsts’ in the law world, including first woman to sit at the Old Bailey, first woman to lead a murder case, and first woman to win a scholarship at Gray’s Inn. In honour of her, the SOAS Bar Society is organising the annual Rose Heilbron Moot.
The dates of the three rounds will be as follows:
Monday the 28th of January;
Monday the 4th of February;
Monday the 18th of February (Final).
The Society is organising a range of inspiring people to judge you, in order to honour the legacy of the Moot’s namesake.
If you are interested in participating as a mooter, please send a CV and a short motivational statement to email@example.com by Friday the 18th of January. We strongly encourage you to apply, as this is a one-of-a-kind competition unlike any moot you have previously encountered!
If you have any questions, please direct them to our email address, and we will be happy to answer any queries you might have.
