Queen Mary ADR Society Event: 'Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions for Arbitration in Africa' (28 Feb)

from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Laws 2.10 on Mile End Campus

Queen Mary Alternative Dispute Resolution Society is organizing an amazing event on Thursday, 28 February on 'Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions for Arbitration in Africa'.

Two Dispute Resolution partners, Kamau Karori MBS and Milly Jalega Odari, from IKM Advocates (in alliance with DLA Piper and DLA Piper Africa) are coming from Kenya to talk to us about the opportunities, challenges and solutions for arbitration in Africa, especially in light of their own experience as they recently secured a victory for the Republic of Kenya in the Cortec v Kenyacase.

This lecture and Q&A will take place on Thursday, 28 February 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Laws 2.10 on Mile End Campus, and will be followed by a small catered reception.

This event will be a unique opportunity to talk to them and learn more about the growth of arbitration in Africa!
