Applications open to join ParliaMentors (Deadline Reminder)

Applications are now open for ParliaMentors, our UN Award-Winning leadership programme.

The programme involves teams of university students of different faiths and non-religious beliefs to collaborate and create real social change while being mentored by a local MP. Our goal is to build connections and understanding between students of different backgrounds while at the same time equipping a new generation of leaders that is more diverse and representative.

ParliaMentors has been running for 11 years and graduates have gone on to work as senior civil servants, charity directors, published authors and MPs both at home and internationally.

Students interested in working on community and social relations, developing their leadership skills whilst collaborating with other potential leaders would make great candidates for the programme, particularly those that may have taken on some positions of responsibility in the past and are looking to take this to the next level.

Recruitment for ParliaMentors will remain open until Midday on Monday 12th March 2018.

We now work at 10 Universities in London, Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester, including SOAS.

Applications are open to anyone who will be a current student in the 2018/19 academic year at these 10 universities only.

Please help us to continue spreading the word! We would be grateful if you could share the below message with students or relevant forums. Follow us on Twitter @ParliaMentors for updates and if you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us.

It’s time for young, diverse voices to be heard. Apply to ParliaMentors today!

Do you see yourself as a future community or political leader? Are you tired of hearing about divisions in society and want to be part of the solution? Would you like to be mentored by an MP? Then apply for ParliaMentors.

ParliaMentors is a UN Award winning leadership programme where teams of university students of different faiths and non-religious beliefs collaborate to create real social change while being mentored by an MP. The programme is fully funded and runs alongside the academic year.

You’ll be joining a network of over 450 emerging leaders who've gone on to be senior civil servants, charity directors and even an MP since graduating.

To coincide with the recruitment period, we have released a video celebrating and showcasing the fantastic work those on the programme have achieved.

Applications close Midday on Monday 12th March 2018.
