Liberty - Administration Support Volunteer (Deadline Reminder)

This email is to let you know that we are currently recruiting for a new round of Administration Support Volunteers.

Liberty is a high-profile campaigning organisation that has been fighting for human rights and civil liberties for over eighty years.

We work on a diverse array of issues, including non-discrimination, migrants’ rights, protest, privacy, digital rights, free speech, police misconduct and access to justice. We are a uniquely multi-disciplinary team, working to achieve change through a powerful combination of lobbying, strategic litigation, public campaigning, member activism, and providing free advice and information to the public. Liberty has been standing up for people and holding the powerful to account since 1934, and it is needed now more than ever. 


Administration support volunteer. We are looking for people who can provide administrative support to our Operations and Development teams, starting the week beginning the 12th March.

The work in this volunteer role will therefore be varied and will change from one day to the next. The types of tasks are likely to include;


·         Cover the reception area in Liberty’s office, helping to manage the switchboard and deal with visitors, suppliers etc

·         Manage outgoing post 

·         Record and manage information and data entry

·         Other administrative support across Operations, Development and other teams as needed

Skills/Additional info:

Successful applicants will be hard working and reliable with a proven interest in Liberty’s aims.

They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Hours/Days: One day per week for a period of four months

Closing date: 9am Monday 19th February 2018.
