NILS Conference on 'Sustainable Development Goals: Life on Land'

This conference is a part of the SDG+ Conference Series, which is a series of conferences being hosted by the Network for International Law Students in 17 different countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. It is a modest attempt on behalf of NILS to help promote the Sustainable Development Goals and take a step towards achieving Agenda 2030. Goal 15 being hosted in the United Kingdom with ELSA Westminster.

Sustainable Development Goal 15
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

The conference is targeted mainly at students who are interested to learn the ideals and various aspects of Environmental Law, Biodiversity, Clean Energy etc. While the conference is open to anyone and everyone - law students and PhD researchers on the subject would benefit the most.

The Conference spanning for two days will deal with cutting-edge issues on the subject with the most eminent experts from London coming up at speakers. The second day will focus on extensive brainstorming session where the delegates sit together and brain-task on leading an actual change from there. A report from the conference will be submitted to various international bodies, including UN bodies as suggestions.
