The Camden Community Law Centre (CCLC) provides free legal advice and representation to residents living in the Camden borough. The CCLC specifically specialises in Immigration, Employment, Debt &Welfare and Housing.

In October 2013, SOAS School of Law partnered with Camden Community Law Centre (CCLC) to give law students the opportunity to undertake voluntary work experience placements. The opportunity allows SOAS students to volunteer at the centre for a minimum of six months and assist solicitors with correspondence, case management and the preparation of legal documents. Head of School of Law, Paul Kohler, described this partnership as one that would undoubtedly allow SOAS students to ‘put theory into practice at a great organisation’.
